Gary Yamamoto Baits

New! Made from a special blend of buoyant soft plastic, the new Senko Lite suspends and hovers above shallow cover. It doesn't quite float but does resist sinking as it quivers enticingly on a super-slow fall. Twitch the rod tip to walk the Senko Lite back up to the surface for another agonizingly suspenseful descent. The Senko Lite comes in four new highly-visible colors.

The 5" 9-series Senko is one of the most productive bass lures ever invented, and the top producer in Yamamoto's Senko product line. It's not magic, but it's close. Not only does the Senko have incredible fish-catching action, but it casts like a bullet and gets into the strike zone quickly. Bass can hardly resist the Senko's unique horizontal fall when fished weightless or wacky style. Say Yamamoto Senko...and say no more

Gary Yamamoto took a ink pen body and made fishing tackle news around the world. Gary still wonders at times just why fish like the Senko so much, but fishermen around the country including Roland Martin have found it does drive a bass crazy. This is just one in a line of soft plastic baits that have became common topics for dock talk. Visit the Gary Yamamoto web site today and see the complete lineup of great lures.

Another great lure by Gary Yamamoto is the Cut Tail worm.. The creation of the 4" 7-series Cut Tail's is an interesting story. Fishing in Japan on Lake Kawaguchi in winter time, Gary Yamamoto found the bass were cold and lethargic and did not want a full tail that wiggles on their worms. So he progressively cut back the wiggling curly tail on the 6"until the cut tail resembled what you see today. That summer, it was also discovered that the do-nothing nature of the Cut Tail worked on listless bass sweltering in the high temperatures of summer as well. It essentially became what is called a do-nothing lure, and a unique product line that is always catching something whenever bass are "doing nothing".

Fish the complete line of Yamamoto baits and you will see why Roland Martin says" It is like candy to big bass".
